Garry Grant at ALLTRAX has been servicing, maintaining and modifying my rally cars, classic cars and 4WD vehicles for over 10 years. My most recent project for ALLTRAX has been the building of my MK 1 Ford Escort Rally Car in preparation for the Oct 2010 TARGA NZ Rally. The car was taken down to an absolute bare shell, seam welded and gusseted on a turn table. The body was then prepared and primed and sent off for professional painting. Once painted ALLTRAX then set about assembling the car. All components installed were either rebuilt or new to produce a stunning car ready to compete in the Targa Rally. The build quality is simply superb. I recently debuted the car at the Nelson Car Clubs Sandy Bay tarseal Hill Climb. The car drove and handled like a dream. A credit to Garry and his team at ALLTRAX.

Garry and the team at Alltrax prepared a lease car and supported and serviced for us during the 8 day Silver Fern rally 2008. We can't recommend Garry highly enough, car preparation both mechanically, aesthetically and all the little details which we wouldn't necessarily have thought of ourselves. The experience was completely hassle free for us making the rally a total, fly, "arrive and drive" package.

We had an "off" on day 5 (drivers fault!). Garry and the team had us back on the road within 2 hours having only missed 2 other stages, despite changing the whole axle, struts, various other parts, and straightening out the body enough for us to carry on! With 2 service vehicles, a spare engine and two of everything else mechanically we were pretty much guaranteed a rally finish.

Apart from the car it's the small things that prove they went the extra mile, with convenient accommodation all pre-arranged, home-cooked service break snacks/lunch and of course great company at dinner every night, it made for a 100% satisfied customer, we would have been lost trying to organise all this in a foreign country ourselves. Thanks guys for a great time and getting us to the finish in one piece!
